2. 林奇的最新專輯《靈魂與聖詩(Spirituals & Hymns)》挑選了多首描述當人類遇到巨大困難的情況下，這些充滿情感的歌曲能激勵每個人不屈不撓的意志，戰勝絶望與困惑，更傳達了對自由和救贖的不可遏制的渴望，這些讚美的歌曲聽得令人歡欣鼓舞。

3. 這些歌曲多來自非洲裔美國人的創作或改編，旋律豪邁卻藴藏點沉鬱，堅強而帶著盼望，每首曲都分別有特定的伴奏樂器如鋼琴、管風琴、結他、小提琴、小號，口琴、鼓和西非杯鼓(djembe)等，加上林奇運用其雄渾醇厚的聲線演繹，帶來不斷的驚訝和喜悅。
